![]() With a suitable e-juice in the cartridge – a 50/50 PG/VG, a high PG or a nicotine salts e-juice – the Pulse pods do give off some good vapor. You won’t get huge clouds, but the coil will last for a long time, and it won’t completely kill your e-liquid. The pods have silica wicks, which some might say is not ideal, but with such a low power output, the wick material is well-suited for this kind of pod vape. ![]() It can take something between 1.5ml and 2ml, as filling the pod completely would put too much pressure on the fill ports, leading to leakage. Some sites say 1ml, others say 1.5ml (the Limitless website says this), while still others say 2ml. ![]() There’s also been some confusion regarding the actual e-juice capacity of the pods. You’ll need a unicorn-tipped bottle to fill the Pulse cartridges too, as the ports are quite small. Something like the Vaporesso Aurora Play, which has a proprietary PTF (push-to-fill) port does a good job in achieving both but you need a specific bottle type (unicorn tips) to fill them. Fortunately, the other half of the stopper stays in place, so you don’t lose or damage it because if you did it would mean you are significantly screwed.ĭesigning a pod that is easy to fill, while also being leak-proof has proven a challenge for most designers. So while the pods are well-protected against leaking, they are also difficult to fill, as removing all these obstacles is not easy. Only the fill ports are blocked with a rubber stopper that you also have to remove. They have a dual mouthpiece/top cap that you need to remove to access the fill port. The pods, however, are a bit hard to open. The Pulse, being draw-activated, does not need that much effort to work. One pre-installed Pulse e-liquid cartridge. When you get a Limitless Pulse, here’s what’ll be inside: As mentioned up top, there is no instruction manual, although there is a card with a QR code that will take you to the website where an instructional video will show you how to fill the atomizers and vape the Pulse. What’s in the Boxĭespite its easy setup and straightforward design, the Limitless Pulse comes elegantly packaged in a lift-open box with black and red trim. There is a braided USB charging cable included in the kit, and the cell has 1A charging. On the side opposite the LED indicator light, is the battery’s USB charging port. ![]() Even though there is a power button, the pods are draw-activated so you don’t have to press it when vaping. ![]() The LED is a solid one, with cut-outs along the side that reveal slivers of light when the vape mod is in use. There are Limitless and Ply Rock logos laser-etched onto the exterior as well, and that is about it, regarding the vape’s outer appearance. The end opposite the pod bay is slanted, giving the mod a sharp, bladed look. The Pulse is much longer than those other units, as it measures close to 115mm (4.5 inches) long and 9mm (0.35 inches). Its shape and form resemble many other starter kit vape like the Phix, the Bo and, of course, Juul. The unit has a single, soft-touch power button that also controls the LED light, meaning it changes the colors from red, black, blue and purple. Right out of the box, the unit comes with a cartridge installed (there is a spare one in the kit). The Pulse pod mod is very self-explanatory and uncomplicated, so much so that Limitless did not even include a user manual in the kit (although there are instructions on the website). ![]()
